Hotel Kong Carl - Unike Hoteller - Sandefjord

I stayed for a night as a couple, mostly to explore the nearby Whaling Museum and enjoy the charming city. The outdoor seating area in the front was a perfect spot to relax with a cold drink after a day of walking. I loved the cozy atmosphere inside. it really felt like stepping back in time with the unique, crooked floors. The breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of fresh options, making my morning bright and upbeat.

Charming hotel near the marina in a historic building. My single room resembled a dollhouse, was beautifully furnished and had a very good bed. The breakfast exceeds all expectations - huge selection for absolutely every taste. Value for money super - 10 minutes walk to the station, restaurants and bars nearby, as well. Shopping.

Historic charm with a cozy vibe

This hotel captivates you with its unique charm and history. I felt a sense of royalty while enjoying the wonderful breakfast buffet. The staff was consistently warm and cute.

Unfortunately, the noise from the nearby parking lot was somewhat disruptive, affecting my sleep quality. The room could also use better ventilation, as it tended to feel stuffy by evening.

Great furnished historical house, our room was very big. The breakfast in the beautifully designed restaurant was very varied and delicious.

I was in Sandefjord, Norway and I like the name.The bathroom had been updated and was nice enough. Breakfast was ok.

Felt like I was in a closet. The bed cover was brown and looked dirty, but, after I threw it off the linens were good. The bed itself was funky and uneven and even had an anti bed-wetting plastic under the linens. The carpet was a dark color and seemed filthy. I don't think it was, but it seemed that way. The price of the room was unreasonable, but perhaps that is just the expense of Norway.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, made mornings good.

The breakfast spread was fantastic, and our kids loved the variety. We enjoyed exploring the local area with its charming sights, and the staff provided excellent service, especially Selim, who helped us navigate tricky parking situations. It seemed like home.

My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities available.

Enchanting place, handy base for one night. Polite staff, exceptional breakfast for free wireless internet. Luxurious double room, exceptionally comfortable beds. Location so close to airport station and train station as well as 15min drive from the airport. For tea or coffee visit Maison Grabot nearby. Interesting design, top-notch service in the entire hotel. No charge for wake up calls and ironing too.
